Come Seek, Savor, & Stay a While
I was born and raised in a small town in southern Italy, just past the Amalfi Coast—where life moves at the pace of the waves and the scent of freshly baked bread and simmering tomato sauce lingers in the air. Growing up in this culinary paradise was an adventure in itself. My childhood was filled with the kinds of experiences that now seem like scenes from an old Italian film—handmaking pasta alongside my nonna, foraging for wild asparagus, truffle hunting in the crisp autumn air, and fishing for squid and octopus in the early morning mist.
Food wasn’t just something we ate; it was how we connected, celebrated, and lived.
Then, life took me across the ocean. When my family moved to the U.S. in the ‘90s, my parents immediately opened an Italian restaurant, where I was thrown into the deep end of professional cooking. While my hands were already well-versed in the rhythm of kneading dough and stirring sauces, I now learned the art of running a kitchen and serving our traditions to a new audience. But food wasn’t my only passion—I was also an educator at heart.
I spent over a decade teaching, working for the Cambridge Institute in Europe, which took me on incredible journeys across Turkey, Spain, France, the Netherlands, and beyond. My love for travel only deepened, and every trip became a new lesson in culture, flavor, and tradition. I soaked it all in, collecting stories, recipes, and techniques, always drawn back to the table where people came together over a good meal.
Eventually, my love for food and travel merged in an unexpected way. After launching a mobile bartending and culinary business in Florida, I began teaching pasta-making classes. People loved them. They didn’t just want to learn how to make pasta—they wanted to experience the why behind it, to understand the history, the people, the traditions. Over time, more and more people started asking: Can you take us to Italy?
How could I resist?
But I knew I didn’t want to create another cookie-cutter itinerary filled with crowded landmarks and rushed tours. I wanted to give people the kind of experience I grew up with—the kind you can’t find in a guidebook. I wanted to take them off the beaten path, to tiny villages where nonnas roll pasta by hand, where mozzarella is still made fresh every morning, and where the best meal of your life might be served at a family-run trattoria with no menu.
And so, Seek & Savor was born.
This journey isn’t just about seeing Italy (or France, or the U.S.). It’s about feeling it. Tasting it. Living it. Yes, we’ll visit the must-see sights, but the heart of the trip is about immersing yourself in the soul of a place—learning from the locals, cooking alongside them, sipping wine in centuries-old vineyards, and savoring every bite, every laugh, every story.
Florida, my current home, also holds a special place in my heart. Its pristine beaches, incredible seafood, and hidden gems made it an easy addition to the itinerary. And, of course, France—where my dear friend, a powerhouse female winemaker, introduced me to a world of food and wine so intoxicating that I had to share it with others.
These experiences aren’t just vacations. They’re memories in the making. They’re a chance to bring a little bit of Italy (or France, or wherever we wander) back home with you—so that every time you miss the rolling hills of Tuscany, the salty breeze of the Amalfi Coast, or the deep, earthy aroma of a French wine cave, you can step into your own kitchen and relive it all over again.
So, if you’re looking for a trip that’s more than just sightseeing—a trip that’s about seeking, savoring, and truly experiencing—then come along. Let’s eat, drink, explore, and make some unforgettable memories together.
Because the best way to travel isn’t just to visit a place—it’s to become a part of it.
Ready to seek & savor? Let’s go!
